Monaghan Farm

I’m a city gal through and through, so wide open spaces and fresh air is usually just a weekend away treat for me, but I’d seriously consider a move if this is where I was going to live:

Featured as the House of the Month in February 2010’s edition of House & Leisure, this magnificent home is on the  Monaghan Farm in Gauteng.  Owned by young couple Johnathan Liebmann and Lauren Wallet (an ex-Durban girl!), the eco-estate site is truly magnificent and the way the architecture lends itself to take full advantage of the country surroundings is truly unique. Imagine brunch or sundowners on top in the roof garden!

And I love the use of such a neutral decor palette, the surroundings colours and scenery create such a beautiful backdrop from every angle.

    Hi Lauren
Am sure you went to College?
Your house is magnificent – absolutely love it.
And the city penthouse looks spectacular too, will do a post about it later in the week. Lucky that you get both options…
