20th March 2012 at 2:06 PMahhhhh so many choices – does it have to be just ONE room?? The whole house could do with a serious kick in the right direction….but alas only one so…the guest bathroom / loo would have to be the priority! The grey/blue marble-ish tiles on the walls with that painted swan from the 1970’s or 1980’s is hideous. Next would have to be my bedroom…needs some drastic help – its sooo bloody boring! ooohhh and did i mention those crappy tiles throughout the house well 3 different types in 3 different sections…very odd. HELP ME! x

20th March 2012 at 11:11 AMMy bathroom is purple….Need I say more?
Ok…..maybe the word ‘purple’ doesn’t express exactly how bad this really is….every person who has ever visited my place, upon entering my bathroom, always says:
“whoa!!!! …ummmm…..its……n…ni….nice…”.
No-ones fooling me, this 70s design disaster must change!

20th March 2012 at 9:18 AMi would love to go and get contacts and idea’s for my kitchen. – it is bright orange and i am sure houses the soul of Martha Brady. it really is painful to be in that space :)
I know in a better looking kitchen i would cook up delicious meals and not be a 2 stroke engine nag on my husband to get it sorted. Going to the show would be a push in the rght diirection to finaly put this kitchen to rest.

20th March 2012 at 7:31 AMAh, definitely my bedroom! The rest of the house seems to take the new finds and the bedroom has started to go green with envy (no no don’t worry I didn’t paint it green…yet!!!!). Would be good to wake up each day and be inspired by my surroundings me thinks;)

20th March 2012 at 7:27 AMHello Ashe! WoW, being a DBN gal myself, I have to say that I absolutely love and am thrilled by your site! I have even sent the link to my sister who lives in Spain as she is homesick right now!
I would love to win tickets to DBN Decorex this weekend! I so need to be inspired to redo my bedroom. I am what you’d call a stylist and fashionista in my own eyes :) and so I took it upon myself to “paint a headboard” of an Indian golden temple behind my bed as I hate unnecessary furniture and clutter. I must say it worked for a few years but as you guessed, this “headboard” is not moveable and so I am stuck with it. I really need to come up with new ideas in order to get rid of this “unique idea of mine” :) The paintwork has really tired me out! Please help! Id be so overwhelmed if I win these tickets as I cannot wait to visit the Inspire Theatre and the Decorex Designer Collection as well as Endless Possibility with Plascon 2012 Colour Forecast. This is my year for change for the better and this will be an amazing event to do so in the first quarter of 2012!

20th March 2012 at 6:28 AMHi Ashe!
Love your blog and more importantly, the food! You introduced me to mooki for which I will be eternally grateful:) I am a 21 year old student, and I have just moved into a beautiful little flat in glenwood with my mother dearest. Its an OLD beautiful little flat though and needs quite a bit of work – mainly the kitchen and bathroom. We are so excited to go to the decorex, so if you could help us out I’d be just as grateful for that as I am for sucking down on those sweet little pork noodles!
Thanks:)
