DURBAN GUIDE

Interpret Durban

I attended the very first ‘Interpret Durban’ and it’s very exciting that this year is the 4th one with over R50 000 in prizes!
Interpret Durban is all about showcasing the city of Durban and is open to artists, photographers, illustrators and film makers on a national level – so if your creative juices can fit into any of these disciplines, then this is the platform for you!

This year’s theme is ‘The Concrete Circus’ and submissions are now being accepted in the following categories:

• T-shirt Design brought to you by Springleap
• Photography in association with the KZNIA
• Short Film in association with the KZNIA
• Mix Medium

Entry forms for each of the four categories can be found on the Interpret Durban website – submissions close on the 22nd August at 12h00.

Then head to the Durban City Hall on 31st August to see all the selected entries and watch the awards ceremony, as well as enjoy live music.
