DURBAN GUIDE

The Ask Ashe Black Book

askashe_blackbook
It’s June.
I had all these high hopes of being this business owner who blogged and designed and consulted and drank coffee in all the places and yet it’s already JUNE!
And I do get to drink the coffee, but it’s mostly at home at odd hours while I watch deadlines race up on me and I burn midnight oil. And with all the work, I’ve neglected the blogging and find myself sharing snippets on facebook and instagram and not actually creating content like I had hoped.

It sounds like I’m complaining – don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change it for the world, but I have a list as long as my arm to start writing and blogging about and I just haven’t had enough hours in the day.

So, I put my big girls panties on and made a new list, it says ‘Must do now so you’ll get paid’ on the one side and on the other it says ‘No one will die if you don’t do this today’.
Now I feel better.

I did update the blog black book though, so you can go have a squizz at all the places I love in Durban and do your bit to support local. And let me know of any you think I should try – I’m sure I can fit them in between 3am and 5am ;)

Nicola, it’s so lovely to hear we are in the same boat. I had a little chuckle to myself as I read your post… all I can say is same same. But I still love reading your content, even when it goes through a dry patch, as we all do! Kath x
