Olly Polly Play

My dear friend Genevieve has creativity that knows no bounds. So when her business Olly Polly took off and she found the perfect niche for kids decor that was both on trend and well made, it was a natural step to develop a play range, which includes beautifully crafted, locally made toys which will delight and inspire.

All products are designed to be mixed and matched with your own decor pieces, to create easy bedroom updates that are both beautiful and affordable.

The range includes a doll’s house which is personalised and made with care for each recipient, so that no two houses are the same, plus they come with miniature versions of all the Olly Polly kids furniture – from the house bed, mouse ear chairs, cloud table and clothing rails – they’ve thought of it all. Special details such as tiny book ledges, teepee shelves and crocheted rugs are included, as well as the cutest hand painted wooden peg dolls – I seriously have doll’s house envy!!!

What I have my eye on most though is the South Africa road map play mat bag, with its custom illustration by Andrea Barras. The monochrome scandi-style graphic depicts a road map of SA that takes you on a journey across the country, from the sunny coast of Durban to the buzzing metropolis of Joburg and then on to Cape Town’s table mountain – love love love! Kids can play on the mat, which includes one wooden truck with purchase, and then simply pull the drawstrings to shut the bag and clear away all the mess – genius!

This really is the most beautifully curated range of children’s play things, that are made with love and built to last. Plus there’s just a flat R65 flat shipping rate on all orders!
