I don’t often get behind big corporate campaigns, but was so intrigued by this proposal from Give a Click that I had to get involved. For someone like me who is on social media pretty much all day, it’s a win-win situation, whereby I get to elect a charity of my choice and then just by liking, sharing and commenting on selected Unilever brands on facebook, including OMO, Knorr, Domestos and Lifebuoy, they’ll donate products to them on my behalf.
I even made a video clip to support the campaign, something WAY out of my comfort zone! You can have a squizz below – no laughing! Never realised how much I squint my eyes when I’m talking!!!
Charities to support include LIV Village, 1000 Hills Community Helpers, Khulumani Water for Dignity, Wildlands and The Domino Foundation, amongst others and I’ve chosen to support LIV Village.
Now every time I engage with selected brand FB posts, my facebook activity is turned into donations for the cause I care about.
