Backyard inspiration

There’s no rest for the wicked they say.
Well we’re those kind of people who decide to tackle some DIY 5 days before Christmas.
This time it’s the backyard that’s getting a bit of TLC – it’s been sorely neglected since we moved in and other than putting up a fence and removing tree stumps (the previous owners cut all the trees down – sob!), we’ve done nothing else!

We don’t have a pool, but invested in one of those pole/plastic jobbies last year and it was a life saver, but it killed our grass in a nice big circle. So we’re going to be laying some paving and putting the pool on top of that. Needless to say I had to do some pinterest surfing for inspiration.
Fingers crossed we can make it look like a smidgeon of these beauties!!!
