New York: Central Park picnic

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know! We just spent the afternoon in Central Park picnicking with a New York food and wine critic – think proscuitto wrapped cheese sticks, fresh green asparagus spears, lemon marinated courgette slices, salty olives the size of golf balls, baby carrots and hummus and baguettes stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, proscuitto and wild rocket – all assembled with plastic knives and forks! It was phenomenal!

Now we’re off to a bar called the Mermaid’s Inn on the upper west side, cheers!
