This stand at Kamersvol Geskenke bowled me over as I am obsessed with letterpress – I wish we had access to more of it in SA. Letterpress basically ‘punches’ the design into the paper, creating a beautiful textured pattern. No two prints are exactly the same, as each one is created individually by hand using a 1964 manually operated German Proofing Press.
Essie Letterpress specialise in wedding stationery, but their larger prints were what caught my eye and I fell in love with this dude in a big way: how frikkin cool is he!?
