So we just sold our house that we’ve lived in for 11 years. This house has been our family home and just about everything we’ve bought for it has been to go with this house and most of what’s in it. So read: practical, but not necessarily ever quite ‘our taste’. This rug will go into the house my husband and I have bought. It would literally be the first piece we’d be choosing for our first ‘proper’ home together. Because we’re a pair who spend almost all our time around the kitchen and living area, this rug would go there. Petrol blue viscose, or the aged pattern rug… oh the choices would be sweet torture! I almost love my lounge; it’s full of textures and deep and bright colours but the grotty but necessary rug in the Centre of the room gives me the heebeejeebees every time I walk into the room….& just can’t imagine having R7000 that doesn’t have 50 other places it needs to go before I can consider buying the rug of my dreams and putting the old one down!
