I was recently asked to be one of the official bloggers for the new Oral-B Pro-Expert toothpaste, which has just launched in South Africa.
What does that really mean though?
Well Oral-B Pro-Expert is actually their first toothpaste. I had always wondered why Oral-B only did brushes and not pastes and now I know why – it’s been under wraps and in development for a few years and now to coincide with the launch in SA, they’ve asked some bloggers to trial the product for them.
I’ve always been a stickler for clean teeth – I’m that person who tells you there’s something in yours! I’ve had my teeth whitened once before – with terrible results – my gums burned during the procedure and then peeled terribly and were so sensitive afterwards. And to be honest I didn’t notice that much of a difference. So the claims of this new toothpaste are appealing:
With regular brushing, Oral-B Pro-Expert helps:
Prevent Cavities, Plaque, Tartar & Gum Problems
Build increasing protection against painful sensitivity
Whiten teeth by removing surface stains
Prevent Enamel Erosion
Freshen Breath
So for 4 weeks, I’ll be putting the paste through its paces and noting the results and affects. So far so good actually – the first day I used it this week my teeth felt like I’d had a dentist clean them after just one use! The paste is gritty – like that stuff they use at the dentist when cleaning your teeth – except it doesn’t go everywhere and you don’t have to wear those sexy protective glasses! It’s quite foamy too, so a little bit goes a long way and I’ve felt the freshness for a few hours afterwards – up until my first flat white that is – coffee drinkers are their own worst enemies hey!
I will be noting any colour differences over the 4 weeks too – I’m really hoping I see a difference and that the whitening claims are true. I will also be giving you details on where to get the paste for yourself and there might be some cool giveaways too… So keep reading!
