Chelle was a busy bee yesterday and kept me very much in the loop of all the cool new spots on the interwebs. She sent me a link to a very cool person – Monya Eastman who has a very clever company called Stokperd. Monya was tired of the bog standard, cookie-cutter furniture that the big bad world of mass production was spewing out, so she decided to bin her corporate job and make her own furniture.
I am green with envy!
Now Stokperd will custom make just about anything you can dream up. And if you can’t dream it up, they will – everything from coming to your house to measure up, talking ideas and wood types, to drawing up that sexy piece of furniture you cannot live without.
And voila, the ideas in your head become a reality.
