Urban Jungle Bloggers

A few months ago I found out about this awesome initiative over on instagram – Urban Jungle Bloggers.
It was started by 2 bloggers, Igor of Happy Interior Blog and Judith of JOELIX.com, who decided to unite bloggers from all around the world, to share ideas on all things green to create an urban jungle in our own spaces. Just look at the hashtag #UrbanJungleBloggers on instagram and you’ll be inundated with amazing styling ideas, DIYs and green tips & tricks to get your own green fingers twitching.

The 3rd season has just kicked off and the theme is Plants & Art. On September 10th, bloggers from around the world will be posting pics of their plants in combination with art in their homes, on their blogs as well as on instagram using the hashtag #UrbanJungleBloggers, so it’s a good opportunity to follow along if you are after some inspiration.

The ideas are amazing and what some people achieve in small spaces is phenomenal. Getting greenery into your home doesn’t have to be difficult, or expensive either – I have recently bought some air plants and they need little attention (my best!) and take up no space at all. Now that we have a garden I am so keen to get stuck in with some indigenous planting too, so keep an eye on my instagram feed for what I get up to.
