I was down in Cape Town a few weeks ago for the U2 concert.
I haven’t blogged about that as my BB was stolen leaving the concert, so to say I’ve had a bitter taste about the experience since – is an understatement. Anyway, I have a new BB now so I’m over it and getting my sense of humour back!
While I was down there I headed to Woodstock to check out the new stores at The Biscuit Mill & to breakfast at Superette. I was trawling the nook & cranny reclaimed-wood frame places & pokey second-hand furniture dives and lo and behold I spotted the Vamp Furniture sign by sheer chance!
I’ve followed Paula & her blog for ages and every time I receive the Vamp newsletter filled with pics of the latest stock, I drool and wish I lived in Cape Town so I could get these glorious pieces home! I loved meeting Paula and getting to see her retro-filled space, I would indeed be VERY skint if I lived closer to this store, so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise!?
If you’re lucky enough to live in or near the Mother City, pop past and see what Vamp has in stock – the pieces fly in and out each week so there’s always something new, fresh & exciting to covet. And for all those out-of-towners, here are some pics I quickly snapped:
Vamp is situated in the old St Mary’s Church on the corner of Albert Road and Treaty Street in Woodstock, Cape Town and is open from 09h30 – 16h30 Mondays to Fridays and 08h30 – 15h00 on Saturdays.
